Great week for Mullinavat teams

posted 20 Sep 2015, 15:43 by Tom Duggan
The past seven days has seen a huge amount of action on the playing fields for all units of the club.
Last week saw the under 16's qualify for the county final. This was followed up today by the under 14's who won their semi final comfortably. Last Sunday , a huge crowd came to Mullinavat for the clash with the All Ireland champions Shamrocks.Although we lost by two points, the teams performance was encouraging and yesterday in Mooncoin, the pressure was really on with the first round of the  senior championship clash with neighbours Carrickshock. Our young side really rose to the occasion and after a slow start, they produced their best performance of the season to run out deserving winners on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-13. Today in Ballyhale our senior camogie side came from behind to win the  league by beating Thomastown. Well done to all our teams and their coaches. We can look forward to the rest of the season with great confidence.
